Learning expeditions
Poland is not only a destination. For companies with interests in Central Europe, it is a case study — in industrial growth, in resilience, and in reinvention. A Learning Expedition is built to make that case study accessible to a group, over several days, through direct contact rather than a briefing document.
Where our VIP Tour Guiding is built around one guide and one guest, a Learning Expedition is built around a group and a theme. It brings together company visits, meetings with local business networks, and a guided reading of Poland's history — assembled into a single, coherent narrative rather than a list of separate stops.
Learning Expeditions
Who this is for
Learning Expeditions are designed for companies and organisations that want to bring a group to Poland with purpose:
-
Companies preparing to enter, or already operating in, the Polish market
-
Chambers of commerce and business federations
-
Corporate leadership and board delegations
-
Sector associations organising a study trip for members
What a Learning Expedition is built from
A theme.
Each expedition is organised around a single question or narrative — Poland's economic transformation, its position between East and West, or a sector-specific focus such as manufacturing, logistics, or energy. The theme sets the itinerary, rather than the itinerary being assembled first.
Company visits.
Access to businesses operating in Poland — both companies from your home market that have established themselves here, and Polish companies worth understanding on their own terms. Site visits are arranged directly, at leadership level, not as a general tour of a facility.
Institutional access. Introductions to chambers of commerce, business associations, and, where relevant, diplomatic representation — giving the group a working understanding of how business is actually done in Poland, from people who do it.
History and culture.
Cities like Kraków, Warsaw, Gdańsk carry visible history — reconstruction, occupation, and reinvention are not backdrop here but part of the argument. We include the sites that make Poland's present legible: places such as Auschwitz-Birkenau or the Wieliczka salt mine are presented as part of the narrative, not as separate excursions.
How we work
Simply Kraków designs and delivers the Polish leg of your expedition: itinerary, company and institutional access, logistics, and on-the-ground coordination in English, French, or Dutch. We work from an established network of contacts in Kraków, Warsaw, and the wider Polish business community, including the Belgian–Polish Chamber of Commerce, to secure meetings that are not available through a standard tour operator.
Each expedition is built for the group commissioning it — we do not run a fixed itinerary. Get in touch to discuss theme, duration, and scope.
